Consignment Agreement

Second Act Consignment Dancewear will accept dance, skating and ballroom costumes, footwear, apparel and accessories for consignment only if such items meet the high standards of  Second Act. Accepted items will be consigned for 6 months from the date of agreement, unless otherwise agreed upon by the consignor and Second Act.

Second Act will make a concerted effort to sell your items but Second Act makes no guarantee that any of the items will sell during the Contract Period. Pricing, markdowns and periodic sales are at the sole discretion of Second Act.

If any items do not sell within the Contract Period or are unacceptable for resale at Second Act, you will be asked to pick them up or you can choose to donate them. If you fail pick up your items, they become the property of Second Act and may be sold or donated to an establishment chosen by The Second Act without notice. 

Second Act clients will receive 60% of the final price of all items sold. This can be collected at anytime – just call or email to inquire if your items have sold.  You are responsible for monitoring your account.  It is your responsibility to keep in contact with Second Act regarding sale of your items. Accounts left dormant and uncollected after the 6 month period will transfer and become the property of Second Act Consignment Dancewear.
